Folks, here's the best value around for a family or two who want a nice place at the end of a dead-end road, between Lawton (100,000 population) and Altus (22,000 population), two major, Oklahoma cities; yet a convenient drive out in the country where ya'll can have a couple of horses and lots of facilities for show animals, goats, sheep, hogs or a few cows. The big Shop/Barn is on a concrete slab and will comfortably handle 4 full semi-trucks, and then some. This GEOTHERMAL house was built in 1974, but is all updated except the windows. It's a very nice house. The guest house is a 2 bedroom/1 bath, bunkhouse style with 2 walk-in closets, converted from one half of the horse barn . . . insulated, central heat & air, wood stove and all. Currently one bedroom is an office. As a note, the pictures of the inside of the main house are accurate, except there's a large, black refridgerator at the end of the left hand counter in the kitchen and the house is fully furnished and quite cluttered. Wife's not ready for pics yet. This place may be sold furnished. We are debating that yet, as we intend to leave the United States when sold. Older white pipe pens and white pipe fencing around the barnyard. This place is as nice as it gets for what it is. No where else can you find this value for the money. 2014 Taxes were $2,400. Broker's residence and Oklahoma office. |
